A Canadian Thanksgiving

Let’s just get it out there, most Canadian Diplomats don’t celebrate Thanksgiving abroad, I know, sounds strange, but here are the facts; each mission abroad has to take into account the local holiday’s as well as their own National holiday’s. Usually thanksgiving isn’t given a long weekend like it is in Canada, as there can only be so many holiday’s a year, so this is one celebration I missed so much while we were abroad. I love cranberry sauce! ┬áCanada and the U.S celebrate Thanksgiving, but they are celebrated in different months and have a different history.
